Messaging Privacy & Consent
This disclosure applies to text messages sent by Andrew Lee d/b/a Simplee through Twilio and participating mobile carriers. It explains the consent Simplee requires before sending, the records used to honor that choice, and how to stop messages.
Current status: public keyword enrollment and recurring messaging programs are not active. Activation requires the applicable sender or campaign registration, consent-ledger checks, and verified STOP/HELP suppression behavior.
Message programs and frequency
- Account, security, and transactional messages: sent in response to account activity or a service you request; frequency varies with those actions.
- Customer-care messages: sent while responding to a conversation you initiate or support you request.
- Marketing messages: only after separate express written consent, with no more than 4 messages per month unless a new opt-in clearly states a different frequency.
Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
How consent is collected and recorded
Before an ongoing program sends a message, the opt-in must identify Simplee as the sender, describe the message subject, state the expected frequency, link to the applicable Privacy Policy and Terms, and explain how to withdraw consent. Website consent uses an unchecked choice that a person must actively select. Consent for one sender or subject is not treated as permission for another.
Simplee records the mobile number, program and sender, consent status, the exact disclosure version, source, timestamp, and relevant opt-in or opt-out event. Twilio may receive consent status, source, and date so that suppression is enforced across the applicable Messaging Service and sender.
HELP, STOP, and rejoining
Reply HELP for program and contact information. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Simplee may send one final confirmation and then blocks further messages from that program unless you provide fresh express consent to rejoin.
You may also contact hello@simplee.app. A support request does not override an existing STOP or re-enroll you.
Mobile-data non-sharing
Simplee does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers, mobile opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Simplee shares only the information needed with service providers such as Twilio and mobile carriers to transmit messages, prevent unwanted messages, maintain security, and provide support. Those service-provider disclosures do not permit independent marketing use.
Retention and security
Message content is retained only when needed for delivery, support, security, or a legal obligation. Consent evidence and suppression records may be kept longer so Simplee can prove permission and continue honoring an opt-out. Access is limited to authorized systems and personnel. Twilio’s own systems and carrier networks also process delivery data under their terms.
Your choices
Use STOP for the fastest messaging opt-out. For access, correction, or deletion requests, see Data Requests & Revocation. Deleting other account data does not remove the minimum suppression record needed to prevent future unwanted messages.
